Grandmas 60th Birthday

I am not trying to be obnoxious with videos however, this is apparently the only way my mom, Grandma Lighten can view videos. Hannah made this for Grandmas birthday, September 21st. Sorry are all very pathetic singers! Here’s to you mom!

Hannah's first video

This is Hannah's very first video. Funny I think, we all look like crazy idiots!

Becky Thatcher

Isn’t Kenny adorable! To me she looks just like what I picture Becky Thatcher (Tom Sawyer’s love) looks like, less the Kool- Aid of course.

Talon's Burrito

This is Talon's Burrito. It is actually the one baby item that I would NOT give up. It has saved my life!

It’s called a Miracle blanket. It is shaped kind of like a triangle with extra parts so his arms are stuck to his sides and it rolls around him so he is just snug as a bug. I ordered this when Talon was just brought home and I was up all night with him for several days. The day it arrived I set it aside so I could wash it. At 2 in the morning I got up and tore it out of its package. I have been using it ever since. It just works! Talon calms and actually can get a good sleep! Don’t I sound like an advertisement!

Zoë having a real good time in the dryer.

My sister Heather thought she was up for child neglect, I think I win…um, this is a might bit dangerous but pretty darn funny.

Carefree days of summer...

Britty on the backyard swing.

Oh the carefree lazy days of summer! I remember those. No responsibilities, not a care in the world but for your friends and when the sun went down.

When I was little I remember looking through neighbors rocks. Especially a neighbors white cortz landscaping rocks. Me and Rhonda Boshaw would spend quite a lot of time looking through those white rooks looking for ones with a tiny bit of red in them. That meant the devil had touched them and we would throw them in the street.

Another favorite summer pastime in the “brown house” was putting rocks in the wheels of moms beautiful 68? Baby blue Ford Mustang. I remember her backing out of the driveway and being super angry yelling, “Who put the rocks in the wheels!” I am certain I did it more than once…

Talon's usual sleeping face

Poor Talon. He is not a happy boy! This is his usual sleeping face, for 5 minutes of course...
